Mission Statement

The fellowship committee fosters Christian fellowship for all people in our community. Through our Fellowship, we love and nuture our members and those in the community, doing our very best to live and demonstrate God's love.

Weekly Activities

Sunday

Worship Worship service at 10:45 AM, and during the Summer at 9:30 AM.

Fellowship Time Please join us for coffee and a chance to check out our bulletin boards every Sunday following Worship.

Sunday School for All Ages  Sunday School classes are offered from September through May with special offerings in the summer.  Classes offered include:

Regeneration Station Bring the whole family on Sunday mornings for a new Christian education Sunday school class, REGENERATION STATION. Together we will discover our ever-growing personal relationship with Jesus and with each other. We will strive to better demonstrate God's love to the world and his church. Join us downstairs for breakfast, different class options, crafts, games, skits, music, and all sorts of fun things for the whole family, Sundays at 9:30 AM. Lectionary Bible classes offered every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM.

Church and Society Come each Sunday at 9:30 AM to hear guest speakers on relevant issues regarding the Church's place within society. Contact Shari Dayton for more information.

Monday

Monday Morning Men's Group: Every Monday Morning a group of men interested in deepening their connection to one another and to God gather at in the Fireside Room. Over coffee the group discusses how their faith-life and work-life intersect. If you are interested in attending, the door is always open. Contact Bob Culbertson for more information.

Tuesday

Prayer Time: APrayer time for our church is 9:00am and meets in the sanctuary.  We gather and pray for those in our church,  in the community and through out the world.

Women's Bible Study: A Bible study and book discussion group for women. Leadership is shared and the group chooses its own study material, along with lively discussions and prayers are also shared. Meets September through May from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Contact the church office at 252.3434 for more information.

Closer to God Using several Richard Foster books, this class focuses on the Holy Spirit.  Meets September through May at 2:00 PM.

Wednesday

F.R.O.G. Fully Rely on God is a Wednesday evening Christian education program for youth in grades K-6. The program runs Wednesday evenings, so join us for games, music, and christian lessons. For more information contact the Director of Christian Education, Miguel, at 252.3434.

Presbyterian Women A church-wide organization whose membership is open to all women. The members are women who choose to participate in or be supportive of the organization in any way. The group nurtures faith through prayer and bible study, supports the mission of the church worldwide, and builds a caring community of women.

Sarah Circle: Meets 3rd Wednesday @ 1:00 PM

Presbyterian Women Sewing Circle: Occurs the fourth Wednesday of each month at 9:00 AM in the fireside room. All women are invited to attend. For more information contact the church office at 252.3434

B.L.T.: Bible Lunch Time is a group of men and women who like to read a variety of literature from a Christian perspective. Meet Wednesdays at noon in the North Learning Center. Bring your own lunch. Contact the church office at 252.3434 for more information.

Thursday

BSF Bible Study Fellowship meets Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Fellowship Groups

Young Adult: A vibrant group, ages 18-30, that gathers for fellowship, conversations, meals, community service, and fun activites that relate to things going on in our lives. Meets Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm.  Contact Miguel Covarrubias for more information.

Voyageurs Like historic voyageurs, we too carry cargo for our church and community such as Christian faith, fellowship, service, outreach, and leadership, and pot lucks. While accomplishing these goals we hope to establish the rapport of voyageurs past. Starting in September, Voyaguers is held on the third Sunday of every other month.  Contact Betty Nesmith for more information.

Dinners of Eight A program dedicated to enriching fellowship and relationships among community members by facilitating the organization of groups of about eight people of any and all ages to "break bread" together and get to know each other. For more information, contact Pat Hastings.

Sanctuary Choir: Praising God with singing is what we do. Choral singing with Organ and/or piano. Rehearsal takes place on Wednesday evening at 7:00pm.  Please join us.

Additional Information

Visitors Packets and Letters: We provide our visitors to our church with a letter and welcome packet.

Breakfasts: Monthly breakfasts are served every month to welcome visitors to our church and tell them a little about what our church is doing.

Ministry Fair:  We hold an annual ministry fair so that we can let the congregaration know about churchwide events. 

Special Events:  We organize and develop events to encourage fellowship within our church community.
